Spring Outings in Texas

Spring time shouldn’t be just about cleaning.  At Service Uniform®, we believe in spending equal time between work and family. That’s part of what separates us from other uniform service companies. Here are some activities around Texas for you and your family to attend while you’re not cleaning up the nest.spring outings in texas

  1. San Antonio

San Antonio is full of history. From the Alamo to the River Walk, there is a lot about the city to learn. Other family friendly activities include touring SeaWorld, the Tower of Americas, and the San Antonio Zoo.

  1. Seguin

The Seguin Public Library is offering a lot of educational and enriching activities for children during spring break. Activities include watching movies, making crafts, and group reading activities.

  1. San Marcos

Oftentimes the trouble with traveling to San Marcos is deciding what to do first. Wonder World Park shows visitors what it looks like when an earthquake creates a crater. There’s also skydiving for the older children, and glass bottom boat rides at The Meadows Center.

  1. Gonzales

Gonzales offers a lot of outdoorsy activities for families. Take in a picnic at Palmetto State Park, Independence Park, or a walking tour of the Texas Heroes Square.

  1. Castroville

Castroville offers tourists everything from shopping to outdoor recreation. Take a walking tour of historic Castroville, or picnic on Cross Hill. If you’re in to architecture, check out St. Louis Catholic Church.

  1. Kerrville

If you’re in Kerrville this spring, be sure to check out the Museum of Western Art, and The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden. There are also plenty of parks and hiking trails to go on if you’re looking for a more outdoorsy adventure.

  1. New Braunfels

New Braunfels is a part of Texas that’s rich in state history. Check out the Gruene Historic District to see the old West style of Texas, compared to the industrious future represented by the Faust Street Bridge.
